Signed in October 2009, left-sided midfielder Steve has previously played for Holt United and Westland Sports in the Dorset Premier League. Stepping up five levels of the non-League pyramid has inspired Steve to greater things and the improvement to his game has been evident throughout the second half of last season. With his all-action style and never-say-die attitude he rapidly became a fans' favourite and was duly rewarded for his considerable efforts with the Supporters' Player of the Year award for 2009-10. Steve has recently returned from trials with League One outfit Dagenham & Redbridge and he could well be poised to move on to bigger and better things in the near future.
