Relegation tie is 'must win game'
by

Roy O'Brien says Dorchester Town cannot afford to lose their Blue
Square South home match with fellow basement-battlers Sutton United
on Saturday.
The Magpies' veteran defender thinks his second-bottom side can maintain the same level of performance they displayed in their 2-2 draw at Cambridge City last Saturday - and can come out of the Sutton clash with another positive outcome.
"Against Cambridge we had the right heads on," said O'Brien. "We knew it was going to be tough but we could have gone on to win it.
"We have to win the game against Sutton - it is simple as that. It is a no-lose situation really - we have to make sure we set the game at our pace and not at theirs.
"We hope we can get a run going and kick on for the remaining games. If we do win against Sutton it will be massive boost for us.
"And we have to get more belief in ourselves. If you see someone going for a tackle, that can boost other people. You do not necessarily need experience in each area."
O'Brien has praised the contribution of club captain Alex Browne, who has recently turned himself into an emergency striker.
"Alex is a good character to have in your side," said O'Brien.
"He is a big influence on us and especially on some of the younger lads. Presence up front is something we know we have been lacking.
"While he is not going to be a permanent fixture up there, Alex
brought a lot to the game at Cambridge and a lot out of us as well.
It was good to see the young lad running about up there."
