Osei signs on for new season

Dorchester Town Football Club are pleased to announce that Leon
Osei has agreed terms on a short term contract that will initially
extend his stay with the Magpies into the new season.
The 20-year-old former Q.P.R. and Stevenage player has spent the
pre-season training full-time with the club and has made a big impression
on manager Shaun Brooks in the friendly games so far.
Speaking earlier today on the capture of the young midfielder
on a more permanent basis he said, "Leon has heaps of raw talent
that is just waiting to be nurtured and I look forward to seeing
what else we can get from him.
"He is a big, strong lad and has a good turn of pace which
can take him past players easily.
"If he gets his head down and continues to work hard I think
he could be a real find for us."
Osei, who also has non-League experience in the Ryman league with
both Leyton and Wingate & Finchley, was equally excited about
joining the club. He said, "I am really looking forward to
having a good season with Dorchester.
"We have a great set of lads here and I am looking to set
the place on fire with the rest of the team and giving our supporters
plenty to cheer about.
"The training has been fantastic and I would like to thank
the gaffer for giving me this opportunity and also Nathan Peprah
for introducing me to the club."
