Clay stays, Bent goes

Dorchester Town have extended the loan deal of Salisbury City midfielder Danny Clay by a further month.

The 22-year-old has so far made seven appearances in his time with the Magpies but is yet to taste victory in a county town shirt.

Meanwhile, striker Elliot Bent has left the Magpies and joined relegation rivals Welling United.

Bent was on the bench last night as the Wings moved six points clear of Dorchester with a 2-1 win at Bishop's Stortford.

The winning goal came 12 minutes from time via former Magpie Sonny Cobbs.
