Benji's loyalty rewarded with testimonial

Dorchester Town Commercial Manager Brian Benjafield has been awarded a testimonial match after completing over fifteen years of service for the county town side.

The former midfield star, who in his playing days turned out for Bournemouth, Oxford City, Salisbury, Weymouth, Poole Town and Swanage, has also been assistant manager for the Magpies under former managers Stuart Morgan and Mark Morris.

The 47-year-old will field a side of Magpie heroes of yesteryear - which will include Mark Ormerod, Andy Harris, Scott Morgan, Steve Richardson, Tommy Killick, Shaun Brooks, Matty Holmes, Matt Groves and Owen Pickard - alongside some of the present Dorchester squad and will face an Arsenal side expected to be made up of youth and reserve players.

Advance tickets for the Fordingtons Group Grandstand are available for £8 and terrace tickets for £5. Both can be ordered from Annie Greenslade on 07748 842000. Any un-sold Grandstand tickets will be available on the night at £10.
