Ramos wants a higher level
by

Goalkeeper Francisco Ramos has poured doubt over a return to Dorchester
Town by admitting that he wants to play at the highest level he
can.
The former Weymouth stopper finished last season with the Magpies
but it now appears the county town side's relegation to the British
Gas Business Southern Premier Division could cause him to go elsewhere.
Town boss Shaun Brooks told Echosport last week that he plans to
hold talks with Ramos but with other clubs already showing an interest
in the Portuguese ace, it appears the ex-Portsmouth youth coach
could face a battle to get his man.
Ramos said: "I have not signed for anyone for next season
yet because I have been really busy at work.
"I know Shaun Brooks has been busy too but we are still in
contact and I could well end up returning but we shall just have
to wait and see.
"It's all about both parties being happy and I am sure we
will speak further but there are also a few other clubs showing
interest and I do want to play as high as I can.
"I always want to go higher."
Brooks was unavailable for comment and it is still unclear what
the future holds for Alex Browne, James Rowe and Jones Awuah, who
are all still mulling over offers.
