Ten men Magpies go down fighting
by Devin Ward
A debut goal from Matt Fry on 12 minutes gave Dorchester Town Under
18s the perfect start against local rivals Weymouth.
Neil Kellaway should of added a second for the Magpies seeing his shot go just wide, moments after Town were reduce to ten men on 20 minutes, in what turned out to be a full blooded local derby.
Jamie Hopkins headed the ball into his own goal from a Ben Refer free kick to put Weymouth back on level terms by half time.
A much improved Magpies from recent weeks put up a great fight with some back to the walls defending at times in the second half but they could not prevent Weymouth from scoring two further goals.
The Terras were awarded a free kick on the edge of the penalty area and Agera shot giving keeper Sam Filkins no chance. Tom Richardson got a third goal for Weymouth five minutes before full time.
