Bruised Hill should face Wings

Dorchester Town midfielder Kevin Hill should be fit for tomorrow's
Blue Square South trip to Welling (3pm) despite limping off in Tuesday's
2-2 draw with Team Bath.
The Magpies went 2-0 up against the Students only to be pegged
back in the second half but manager Shaun Brooks was pleased with
parts of the performance.
He said: "For 45 minutes we played really well against a good
team. In fact we probably showed the two sides to us in that game.
"We showed just how good we can be when we are performing
well and are confident and then in the second half we showed what
happens when we become a bit more nervous.
"There is no reason why we cannot go up to Welling full of
optimism and get the three points which would be a massive kick-start
to us.
"They are a good side but we have already shown in spells
that we can match anyone in this league when we are performing well."
As for Hill's fitness, Brooks added: "Kevin was a bit sore
after Tuesday and had to have ice on his ankle and groin but he
should be okay and I would be surprised if he was not available,
so it should be the same squad."
After last Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Fisher Athletic, Brooks said
he was on the lookout for defensive cover but so far he has drawn
a blank.
He said: "Nothing has happened on that yet but to be fair
I thought the defenders that played on Tuesday did a lot better.
"We tweaked it a bit and changed a few things around, and
we only got done by a penalty and a set-piece so for the majority
of the game we did well.
"If those lads at the back keep improving and performing like
that then they will keep their places. It is up to them to step
up to the plate."
