Dorchester Town aim to record their first home win of the season
and end Hayes & Yeading's winning run when the pair meet tomorrow
at the Jewson Stadium (3pm).
The Magpies are yet to taste victory at home in five attempts, the latest being a 5-4 extra-time defeat to Newport County in Tuesday night's Setanta Shield clash.
Meanwhile, United enter the game on the back of seven straight wins, a run that has seen them climb to third in the Blue Square South table.
Dorchester boss Shaun Brooks made no secret of his displeasure following Tuesday's loss and is expected to make changes as a result.
Striker Ryan Moss is available again while Danny Clay could return after personal reasons, and a one-match ban, kept him out of the Magpies' last three fixtures.
The fitness of Kevin Hill and Mitchell Nicholson will be assessed prior to the game but the latter is unlikely to have recovered sufficiently from the knee injury he sustained against Newport.
Brooks said: "There will be changes made from Tuesday. Ryan will come back in, Kevin we will look at, Danny is a possi- bility and there is also Gary Bowles, who came off the bench on Tuesday, and Patrece Liburd to think about as well.
"We've got to get Mitchell looked at and see how he is, but he's very doubtful for tomorrow."
Following the defeat to County, Brooks has warned that some players' futures may be on the line.
He added: "We don't carry a big squad and we've had some key injuries already so everyone has to be competitive. If some players can't come in and do a job then we will review the situation - the club needs to evolve."
Despite preparing to take on a side that has picked up 18 points from their last 18 on offer, Brooks is looking forward to the challenge ahead.
He said: "Hayes & Yeading are doing well but it will be a good game for us. It's only a matter of time before the tide turns and we start turning one point into three. I would rather we play against the top sides as it gives us a good marker.
"There's no reason why we can't get our first home win, we've got good players and we've been close on occasions. Every-one is in a positive frame of mind."
The omens look good for Dorch-ester. Since Hayes and Yeading merged they have yet to beat the Magpies, drawing 2-2 at Church Road last January before losing 1-0 in April at the Jewson Stadium.
