Roy hopeful over skipper's fitness

Dorchester Town are sweating on the fitness of skipper Kevin Hill.
The Magpies' captain fell awkwardly in Tuesday night's
goalless draw with Newport County, during which the county town
side were
forced to see out the last 32 minutes with only 10 men following
Tom Mitchell's dismissal for a headbutt on Scott Rogers.
Although Hill played on and lasted the duration, the former Torquay United man was seen limping heavily after the final whistle.
Dorchester boss Roy O'Brien is keeping everything crossed that
his skipper's pain does not last long.
He said: "Hilly landed on his foot awkwardly and jarred it. We're
monitoring the injury and hopefully he'll be okay and hopefully
it's nothing too serious.
"We need to wait for it to settle down a bit but we should know
more soon. There was some bruising evident but it's too
soon to tell how bad it is just yet."
Hill played a crucial role in helping the Magpies stop the rot of two successive Blue Square South defeats, and halt the slide of shipping seven goals inside 180 minutes.
O'Brien knows how much he would miss Hill's presence should
his worst fears be realised.
He added: "Hilly had a good game on Tuesday night and it would
be a massive blow for us if he was to miss games because of an
injury, but fingers crossed he will be alright."
Dorchester will look to build on the point gained against unbeaten Newport when they travel to Bromley on Saturday.
