Clay departs

Midfielder Danny Clay has left Dorchester Town after failing to find a resolution to his contract dispute with the Blue Square South club.
Defender Roy O'Brien is also in negotiations about his future but acting Magpies' boss Brian O'Donnell is confident the ex-Yeovil Town man will stay.
He told Echosport yesterday: "Danny has gone and left the club but Roy is still in talks and there is a good chance he will stay. It is very disappointing to lose Danny because he is a good player and a nice one to have around.
"But to be honest this all happened before I joined and I cannot really interfere in what is going.
"The players had to make their own decisions and they have done. All I can do is deal with the fallout."
Meanwhile, O'Donnell is urging his side to be more clinical in front of goal ahead of tomorrow's trip to Team Bath (3pm).
The Magpies drew a blank at Basingstoke Town last weekend and although they earned a valuable point, it could have been all three had the visitors put away their chances. To go one better at Twerton Park tomorrow afternoon, O'Donnell's men must buck the trend of five away games without victory, in which they have only managed to score a meagre two goals.
Meanwhile, the Students' home form is nothing to boast about either with seven league defeats in their last eight.
A positive thinking O'Donnell said: "We can go anywhere and put in a performance, we just need to start putting our chances away. I haven't seen Team Bath play but I do know we drew 2-2 with them earlier in the season. They've come out of a bad run and it's important we go there and try to get something out of the game. But as always I look to win every game and we'll see if we can do it at Team Bath.
"We just need to sharpen up in front of goal. If we go ahead in the game it would be nice to see how we react to it."
The only definite absentee for tomorrow's clash, besides long-term injury victim Ivan Forbes, is the suspended Mark Jermyn while Tom Mitchell returns to the fold following a one-month loan spell at Gosport Borough.
O'Donnell added: "Kevin Hill took a knock on Saturday but he'll be fine to face Team Bath. If we can have Roy available to us as well then we should have a full contingent minus Mark Jermyn who is suspended for a game."
The Magpies' previous two matches have seen three new players enter the fray – Steve Hutchings, Richard Whittingham and Daniel Reeve. And O'Donnell continues to be on the lookout for fresh blood. He said: "I'm always looking for possible new players. I'm looking to add to the squad and I've also got next season in mind just in case I'm called upon to take charge."
