Donoghue declines offer to become new boss
Shaun Brooks quit the post on Wednesday evening and Donoghue, who was brought in as a coach by Brooks in July last year, has now left the club altogether after declining chairman Eddie Mitchell's offer. It is unclear who will take charge of the Magpies this afternoon against Eastleigh (3pm). A full interview with Donoghue and his reasons for turning down the job will be online on Monday.
