Ronayne is a strong versatile player who is comfortable anywhere on the left hand side of the pitch.

He has played in the Dutch Second Division with RKC Waalwijk after being signed by their former manager Martin Jol in 2004.

He has English non-League experience having had spells with Fisher, Maidenhead and Welling. During his time at Welling he was snapped up by Conference National side Crawley before signing for Paul Ince at Macclesfield.

Ronayne trained with the Magpies towards the end of the 07-08 season before signing a one-year pro contract in July 2008.
