A former central defender with Portland United
until injury ended his playing days and saw Geoff move into the
medical side of the game.
Geoff became the Magpies physiotherapist in July 1990, having
been assistant physio at neighbours Weymouth for eight years.
Holding numerous qualifications in Sports Therapy, Geoff is well
respected in this side of the game having been Staff Physiotherapist
on FA Coaching courses at Lilleshall and Bisham Abbey, and he is
also a Tutor/Assessor for the FA on their Treatment of Injury courses.
Two seasons ago Geoff reached the remarkable milestone of acting
as physio for 1,000 Dorchester Town matches.
