Ryan is a strong, quick striker who is
now in his third spell with his hometown club after spending two
seperate terms at Southern Premier League side Bashley.
Ryan made 98 appearances scoring 42 goals for the New Forest club
and won their Young Player of the Year award in both seasons before
joining the Magpies for a second time in the summer of 2008 when
signed by then manager Shaun Brooks.
After a good start to the campaign in which he achieved a goal
ratio far greater than his original spell with the club, Ryan left
the Magpies in February 2009 to rejoin Bashley, but returned under
player-boss Roy O'Brien prior to the 2009-10 season.
This popular player was welcomed back to bring both strength and
speed to the Magpies' attack and received the Players' Player of
the Year award at the end of last season.
