Ryan rejoined the club in July 2011 after impressing in a number of pre-season friendlies. He was originally a member of Phil Simkin's reserve team before joining his former manager at Hamworthy United where he built a very good reputation in the Wessex League. He showed his versatility during the 2009-10 season when he played mainly as a left-back as Poole Town romped to the Wessex League title before signing for Bridport last season where he returned his favoured striking role, finishing as top scorer with 22 goals.
