Club captain Mark has been at the Avenue Stadium for eleven seasons and his loyalty will be honoured in August 2012 with a testimonial match against Championship giants Portsmouth.

Previously a YTS player at Torquay United, Mark joined the Magpies as an 18-year-old and soon became a first team regular after a series of solid displays in both defensive and midfield positions, and he continues to be an important and versatile player over a decade on.

One of the fans' all-time favourites, and club captain as of November 2010, he was voted Supporter's Player of the Year in 2007-08, having previously won the award in 2001-02, and is the only Dorchester player to win the Online Player of the Year award twice. Last year he collected the Players' Player of the Year award.

This season Mark has reached the landmark of 500 appearances for Dorchester, a feat which sees him in fifth place in the all-time club appearances list.
