Safeguarding

Dorchester Town Football Club (“the Club”) and would like to remind all players, participants, parents, carers and supporters that they are committed to safeguarding and protecting children and young people.

They fully accept responsibility for the wellbeing and safety of all children, young people and vulnerable adults who are under their care whether they are our Academy players, ability counts/Kix start participants or our Match Day supporters. Any suspicions and/or allegations of abuse will always be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately.

All children and vulnerable adults have the right to protection from all forms of abuse and exploitation and it is the duty of all staff and volunteers, paid or unpaid at the Club to safeguard them by creating an environment that protects them from harm. Our suite of Safeguarding Policies also extend to all players and participants of the Club.
