Volunteer Kitman
Role Type: Volunteer
Time Commitment: Matchdays (Home & away) + some training sessions (as agreed)
Reports To: First Team Manager / Director of Football
The Kit Man plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the football team, ensuring all kit and equipment is prepared, organised, and maintained to the highest standard. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about the club and who wants to be a part of Tommy Killick's backroom team and drive the highest of standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organise and lay out team kits (home and away) for all matches.
- Ensure all kit (shirts, shorts, socks, training wear) is clean, presentable and correctly allocated to players.
- Set up and manage changing rooms before and after matches.
- Transport kit and equipment to away fixtures as required.
- Maintain and manage inventory of kit and training equipment.
- Manage the laundering of kits and training gear (or coordinate with laundry services).
- Work closely with the management team and players to support team needs.
- Uphold club values and maintain a professional, ambitious and positive presence on matchdays.

- Someone with pride in presentation.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism around players and staff.
- Availability on weekends and some midweek evenings.

Volunteer Turnstile operators
