Callum Buckley has been named as club captain and Jordan Ngalo has been named as team captain for the new 2023/24 season.
Boss Glenn Howes has named his captains for the 2023/24 season, with Callum Buckley, a key fixture in the heart of The Magpies defence since joining permanently in 2021 and now nearing 100 appearances for the club, named club captain and Jordan Ngalo, who is entering his second full season at The Avenue after an impressive debut campaign, named as the new team captain.
Speaking on the decision to name two captains this season, Howes said: "Callum’s leadership skills have been exemplary since we’ve arrived and it’s so important these key attributes are continued to be utilised by the team."
"Of course there are additional responsibilities that you inherit when accepting the position of club captain and team captain of Dorchester Town FC. Callum’s professional life is becoming busier than ever so it is a good time to share these responsibilities with Jordan."
"Jordan continues to flourish in the black and white, and although still a young man he possesses a wealth of experience, so it seems only natural for Jordan to step up and play an even more prominent leadership role within the group."
