David Martin steps down as director

June 21, 2022

David Martin has stepped down from the Board of Directors ahead of the new season.

David commented: “After 32 years as a director of Dorchester Town FC, the longest serving director/management committee member since the formation of the club in 1880, I have decided to resign from the board. I feel I need a break from helping to run the club which is done on a voluntary basis."

"I shall always support The Magpies but going forward it will be from the terraces. I know the club is in good hands and is in a good place financially with no debt. I will continue to help the club as a volunteer.”

We would like to say a huge thank you to David for his fantastic service and tireless work for the club over many years, and we are grateful that he will continue to help the club as a volunteer going forwards.
