Welcome Ethan Taylor

Welcome Ethan Taylor

July 12, 2026

Dorchester Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Ethan Taylor ahead of the upcoming 2026/27 season.

A prolific goalscorer, the former Southampton academy striker scored 80 goals in just over 200 appearances for AFC Totton, playing a key role in the team's rise through the Southern League. During his time with the Stags, he helped the side secure two promotions in three seasons, which included scoring their decisive winning goal in the 2024/25 play-off final.

Having joined Gosport Borough last summer, and after enjoying a productive campaign with another double-digit goal tally, scoring 13 league goals, the forward now reunites with boss Glenn Howes once again having worked with him at both Totton and Gosport to become our latest summer signing.

Ethan made his Magpies debut at The Avenue on Friday night, featuring during the second half in our 5-1 pre-season friendly win over Downton.

On signing for the club, Taylor said: “It feels really good to get the deal over the line.

“Dorchester has been a club I’ve been very impressed with over the years and can’t wait to start the season.

“Seeing the facilities and fans over the years made it an easy decision for me once the opportunity came around.

“This is my third time now working with Glenn and I feel he knows how to get the best out of me, and hopefully we can get Dorchester back to where they belong.”

Welcome to The Avenue, Ethan!
