On Saturday we’ll be supporting local children’s charities and causes, including the Kingfisher Ward at Dorset County Hospital and Julia’s House, by running a toy collection at our game against Harrow Borough.
After the fantastic response to our last Give at the Gate collection for local Dorchester food banks from supporters, players and volunteers alike, we’ll be collecting donations of new toys at the turnstiles, and in return we’ll be more than happy to offer a free hot drink and mince pie from the tea bar as a thank you.
We are looking for donations of new gifts only (unfortunately we can’t accept second-hand or used toys), and we ask that toys aren’t gift wrapped so they can easily be sorted.
For exiled Magpies supporters, or if you aren’t able to attend on Saturday, and would still like to contribute, you can make a donation via PayPal to firstname.lastname@example.org (please remember to select ‘friends or family’ to avoid a fee being deducted) which we will use for additional toys and gifts.
If you can, please bring a toy to the game next weekend and give at the gate for our local community 🎁
