Congratulations to Shaq Gwengwe who was voted by supporters as The Magpies Player of the Month for August 2023.
The striker has started the season in fine goalscoring form with five goals in six games throughout the month of August, including a double in our draw against Harrow Borough plus opening the scoring in our Bank Holiday away win at Poole Town.
Shaq was presented with his award prior to our home win against Swindon Supermarine on Saturday - where he was on target yet again scoring the winner from the penalty spot - by Annie Greenslade from DTFC Supporters Club.
