Dorchester Town Football Club are delighted to announce defender Jay Williams has signed for the club on a permanent deal.
The former Reading central defender, who previously came through the academy at AFC Bournemouth, spent the second half of last season on loan at the club, making 17 appearances in black and white since arriving back in January.
Following a spell with Gosport Borough over pre-season, the defender trained with the Magpies squad last week, and is now available for selection in our opening home fixture of the season against Paulton Rovers at The Avenue tomorrow evening.
Speaking on returning to the club, Williams said: "Having been at Dorch last year, I know how much of a big club this is.
"I feel delighted to be coming back here.
"What attracted me back to the club was the fans and everyone’s ambition to get this club back to where it belongs."
