Dorchester Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Jayden Nielsen ahead of the 2026/27 season.
A wide player comfortable on either wing, Jayden arrives at The Avenue following two seasons with Taunton Town, with the former Bristol City apprentice becoming boss Glenn Howes’ tenth new summer signing ahead of the new campaign.
The winger also spent a number of successful years with Bristol Manor Farm in the Southern League Division One South, making a big contribution as they reached two play-off finals in three seasons, and which also included being voted in the Southern League Division One South Team of the Season during his last campaign playing at this level in 2023/24.
On signing for the club, Nielsen said: “I’m really looking forward to it. After speaking to Glenn, I knew it was something I’d be interested in.
“Hopefully we can bounce back up and get the club back to where it belongs.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead - scoring goals, assisting and helping the team as much as possible - and looking forward to playing in front of the fans.”
