Dorchester Town Football Club are delighted to announce Lewis Toms has agreed to return to the club ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Having impressed while progressing through from our U18s and U23s to the senior squad, the central midfielder made his Southern League debut at just 16 years old back in the 2022/23 season under boss Glenn Howes, and after gaining valuable first team experience with Portland United, Winchester City and Brockenhurst over the past couple of seasons, Lewis is now back at The Avenue to become our seventh new summer signing.
Speaking on returning to the club, Toms said: "It’s really good to be coming back this season. Obviously, I’m a local lad and it’s exciting to be back and around the club.
“When I spoke to Glenn it was a no brainer really, as he was the manager to get me involved with the first team when I was here before two years ago.
Looking ahead to the upcoming campaign, Toms added: “I’m looking forward to being back playing at Dorch, the season being successful and getting the club back to where it belongs.”
Welcome back Lewis!
