Dorchester Town Football Club can confirm that goalkeeper Lloyd Thomas has left the club.
Speaking to Dorset Echo Sport, boss Tom Killick said: "The situation with him is that we are going to move on with Adam. Lloyd won’t be returning, so we thank him very much for what he contributed."
“As I’ve said, he probably feels slightly hard done by and I have to accept that that’s probably the case. We’re trying to really push forward and sometimes you have to make decisions that you can’t shy away from."
"I felt he had a really good personality, he was a very engaging individual. It sounds a slightly hypocritical thing to say, but I did warm to him in terms of his personality."
"He’s done well for the club in the time he’s been here. I feel he can go on elsewhere and he can forge a good career. In goalkeeping terms, he’s very young still."
