By James Gray

Dorchester Town travel to Worcestershire on Saturday (3pm KO) to face newly promoted Evesham United in the Southern League Premier South.

The Magpies will be targeting a much-needed win from the contest, after successive home draws in the league to Chertsey Town and Plymouth Parkway.

Evesham, meanwhile, will also be hoping to use the fixture as a means of reversing their recent run of form, that has seen the club go five league games without a win.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of Dorchester's trip to Evesham.

Aaron Heap has been a constant presence in the Evesham midfield this season. The former Northern Ireland youth international will be hoping to play a significant role in delivering a positive result for his team on Saturday.

The Gaffer

Mike Ford has managed the Robins since 2022, leading the club to promotion to Step Three last season. Ford has previously enjoyed successful managerial spells at Oxford City and Banbury United, winning promotions at both.

Form Guide

Magpies - WDDLD

Dorchester have struggled for wins as of late, recording victories in just three of their last 10 league matches. The Magpies most recent outing saw them draw 2-2 at home to Plymouth Parkway.

Robins - LLLLD

Evesham's form has stuttered after a strong start to the season, with their last win in all competitions coming in October. The Robins played out an eventful 3-3 draw away to Hungerford Town in midweek.

Team News

Dorchester boss Tom Killick will welcome back Wayne Robinson to his squad, following the conclusion of his one-match suspension.

Jack Dickson and Connor Underhill will both be assessed, after the pair were withdrawn early during the midweek draw to Plymouth Parkway. Charlie Wooding and Wes Fogden remain absent through suspension and injury respectively.
