Dorchester Town travel to Devon tonight to face fellow early season strugglers Plymouth Parkway in the Southern League Premier South (7:45pm KO). The two sides will be hoping to kickstart what has been a disappointing beginning to the season for each other and which currently sees them both occupying spots in the relegation zone.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of Dorchester's trip to Plymouth Parkway.
Plymouth Parkway In Brief
Founded: 1988
Nickname: The Parkway
Stadium: Bolitho Park
Capacity: 3,500
Playing Surface: Grass
Ones To Watch
Rocky Neale was a marquee signing for Parkway this summer, with the striker having joined from National League side Truro City. Neale was among the Southern League Premier South's top scorers when he previously played in the division for the likes of Truro and Taunton Town.
Parkway captain Shane White is another key player for the Devon-based side and has experienced promotion from this division twice in his career.
The Gaffer
Chris McPhee has held the reigns at Bolitho Park since 2024, leading the club to a 13th place finish in the league last season. As a player, McPhee represented the likes of Brighton and Hove Albion, Torquay United and Weymouth.
Previous Meeting
Last February, a brace from Olaf Koszela was enough for the Magpies to win 2-1 at Bolitho Park - a ground which Dorchester have struggled for results at in recent seasons.
Form Guide
Magpies - DLLWL
Dorchester remain winless in the league at the start of this season, with their only victory to date coming against Slimbridge in the FA Cup.
Parkway - WDLLL
Plymouth Parkway have fared slightly better in the league than Dorchester, although only marginally, and currently sit two places above them in the table. Parkway's only win of the season so far came at home against Gloucester City.
