Dorchester Town Football Club are delighted to announce Tom Purrington has re-signed with the club ahead of the 2026/27 season (subject to FA approval).
The ex-Magpies midfielder returns for a third spell at the club after initially making his debut on loan from Plymouth Argyle in 2019, before joining permanently for the 2021/22 campaign. Having gone on to feature for Tiverton Town, Plymouth Parkway and most recently Taunton Town all at Southern League Premier South level, Purrington is now back in black and white to become Glenn Howes' second new signing of the summer.
On re-signing for the club, Purrington said: "I’m delighted to be signing for the club. Having already played here over two spells and playing under Glenn previously, it already feels like a place I have a real connection with.
"The ambition being shown by everyone at the club was a huge factor in my decision. There is a clear vision, and I’m excited to be part of the journey in getting Dorchester back to where they should be.
"I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead and can’t wait to get started."
