Dorchester Town Football Club are pleased to announce that Ashley Wells has today joined The Magpies ahead of the 2020/21 season.
On his latest addition, boss Leigh Robinson said: “The job for me here as a manager is to keep the squad improving and moving forwards. When Ashley became available, he was instantly a player I wanted to pursue to add a bit of extra know-how and winning mentality to the squad.”
“He is one of the most committed and hardest working players I have seen at this level and quite simply someone who I have always hated managing against due to his sheer competitiveness but always felt I wanted in one of my teams. His versatility will be a big asset and we’re very pleased to welcome him.”
Subject to agreement from The Southern League, Ashley will be available for selection tomorrow afternoon against Weston-super-Mare.
